Sex Therapy
My role is to welcome you in a warm and professional manner to help you identify and understand the factors contributing to your distress. Together, we explore potential solutions and develop means so that you feel an improvement in your sexual, emotional and relational well-being.
My Approach
I have specialized in humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approaches. That being said, it is important to me to emphasize the value placed on the uniqueness of our collaboration. As every difficulty is experienced differently by each individual, my approach promotes the construction of a clear understanding that will make sense to you. The humanistic approach will be highlighted through its focus on the therapeutic relationship, openness, exploration, and empathy. It is through active and authentic collaboration that we will work together. Cognitive and psychodynamic concepts and strategies (unconscious, transference, etc.) may also be utilized.

Session Format
Weekly sessions last fifty minutes and are conducted in complete confidentiality. They can be done individually or as a couple. During the first sessions, we will clarify your questions regarding the therapeutic process and explore all factors that may contribute to your issue. Subsequently, we will establish goals to work on together in order to move towards achieving your objectives.
Fees
The duration of a sexotherapeutic process varies according to the reason for consultation and the needs of each individual. Follow-ups can extend over a short period to several months depending on your involvement, the type of difficulty encountered and the targeted objectives. You will invest $160 for an individual meeting and $170 for a couple's meeting, each session being fifty minutes. Sessions are payable by Interac transfer, cash or check. A psychotherapy service receipt is issued at each meeting. I invite you to contact your insurer to check the reimbursement terms for psychotherapy/sexotherapy services.
Cancellation Policy
* Please note that any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment must be notified within 24 hours or more, otherwise a fee of $80 will be applied. Any missed session without notice of cancellation must be paid in full.
